Agent Hub

Custom modes & rules

Custom modes combine a name and instructions with allowed tool categories. They define a reusable working framework for matching tasks.

Step by step

  1. 01

    Open Agent Hub → Modes.

  2. 02

    Enter Mode name, Icon, Description, and Instructions.

  3. 03

    Enable the required tool categories and add individual overrides if needed.

  4. 04

    Save the mode, then select it in chat.

Good to know

  • Individual tool overrides expects a JSON object with true/false values.
  • A mode cannot replace missing account, operating system, or remote device permissions.
  • Global agent rules are managed separately under Rules.

Troubleshooting

If saving fails, check JSON syntax and confirm all override values are booleans.
