Step by step

  1. 01

    Open Settings → Models.

  2. 02

Select Providers and add a connection using an offered authentication method.

  3. 03

Test the connection, then open the model picker in chat.

  4. 04

Use Usage for reported quotas and Versions for installed runtime programs.

Providers

  • AI providers and connections
  • List and manage connections

Versions

  • CLI versions
  • Installed versions
  • Available updates

Edit provider connection

  • Provider
  • Supported authentication method
  • Connection ID/Name
  • Base URL
  • Credential
  • GCP project/location if offered

OAuth connection

  • Connect/Reconnect
  • Browser sign-in
  • Code or callback URL
  • Status

Manage connection

  • Save
  • Enable/Disable
  • Edit
  • Test and model detection
  • Delete connection

Good to know

  • Connection ID and Name distinguish multiple connections to the same provider.
  • An API key and a provider subscription are different access methods. Use a method offered by the connection.
  • Missing quota data does not imply an unlimited quota.

Troubleshooting

If models are missing, retest the connection, check the account and Base URL, and refresh detection.
