Workspace

Terminal

Terminal provides an interactive shell beside the conversation. It maintains its own session state and supports multiple tabs.

Step by step

  1. 01

    Open Workspace → Terminal.

  2. 02

    Add a tab with New terminal tab if needed.

  3. 03

    Check the host and directory before running a command.

  4. 04

    Close a tab using its close action.

Good to know

  • The effect of closing a view on running processes depends on the session. Check important running commands first.
  • A terminal on the Metis host is separate from a remote device session.

Troubleshooting

If a surface is empty, select an existing document or ask Metis to create a plan or canvas.
