Share chats

Sharing a chat makes a readable view of the conversation accessible through a link. An optional password protects access.

Step by step

  1. 01

    Open Share chat in the conversation.

  2. 02

    Create the link and optionally set a password.

  3. 03

    Check which content and attachments appear in the recipient view.

  4. 04

    Use Deactivate link when sharing is no longer needed.

Password protection

  • Set/Remove password
  • New share password
  • Lock

Share link

  • Copy link
  • Share with others

Deactivate link

  • Revoke sharing
  • Existing links and attachments

Good to know

  • A share link is separate from project membership.
  • Recipients can clone a shared chat after signing in, creating their own copy.
  • Review the information you publish even when using a password.

Troubleshooting

If a link is inaccessible, check that sharing is active and the password is correct. A deactivated link should no longer provide access.
