Step by step

  1. 01

Decide which computer will run Metis.

  2. 02

Choose an AI provider whose access you want to use.

  3. 03

Start with a small task and add devices or integrations as needed.

Good to know

  • The Metis host runs the application. A remote client connects another computer to it.
  • Self-hosted describes how the application runs. Prompts and context may be sent to your selected model providers and tools.

Troubleshooting

If no model is available, open Settings → Models → Providers and check the connection.
