Choose a microphone

The microphone selection belongs to the browser on the device where you opened the Metis interface.

Step by step

  1. 01

    Open Microphone under Voice input.

  2. 02

    Allow microphone access if prompted.

  3. 03

    Choose an available device or System default.

  4. 04

    Use Refresh devices after connecting a microphone.

  • Request permission
  • Refresh device list
  • Unavailable device

Good to know

  • Other devices retain their own microphone selection.
  • A previously selected device that is no longer connected may appear as unavailable.

Troubleshooting

If a setting has no effect, check its scope. Running tasks or existing uploads may retain their previous state.
