Step by step

  1. 01

    Open Search chats, or press Ctrl+K or Cmd+K.

  2. 02

    Enter part of the title or content you are looking for.

  3. 03

    Select a search result or quick action.

  4. 04

    Use Export current chat to save the current conversation's text as Markdown.

Good to know

  • A chat result can take you directly to the matching message.
  • Chat exports contain roles and text. They are not a complete installation backup.
  • Archived chats can remain accessible through search.

Troubleshooting

If a result is missing, try a shorter search term and check that you are using the correct account.
